Bankruptcy Administration Solutions

Overcome the Complexities of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Administar excels at all aspects of bankruptcy administration. We approach each engagement with a fresh eye and custom approach. Whether debtor, creditor or investor, our solutions help parties involved in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings take advantage of opportunities to improve their outcomes.

Creditors’ Committee Administration

The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA) contains provisions that significantly change the obligations and burdens of creditors’ committees and their members. Committees are assuming ever-increasing roles and responsibilities in Chapter 11 proceedings. Oversight and information sharing requirements present new and developing challenges to committee members.

Administar helps creditors’ committees fulfill their administrative and information sharing duties under the Bankruptcy Code and improve the outcomes of restructurings.

Information Sharing Solutions

BAPCPA added section 1102(b)(3) to the Bankruptcy Code, which provides that a creditors’ committee must provide access to, and solicit comments from, creditors with like claims. The new Bankruptcy Code committee directives are evolving and Administar offers solutions for committees to meet these requirements.

Document Noticing
Administar can help a committee comply with its obligations by distributing notices and other pleadings to large creditor bodies.

Custom Websites
Administar designs and develops custom case websites for committees to share information with creditors. Committee websites can include information regarding filing deadlines, pleadings, monthly committee reports, case calendars and frequently asked questions, among other topics.

Hotline & Email Inquiries
Administar can manage and respond to creditor inquiries via a “hotline” and dedicated email address.

Solicitation and Balloting
In addition to information sharing solutions, Administar also helps committees in their efforts to drive the outcome of a restructuring. If a committee proposes a plan of reorganization, Administar’s services continue through the balloting and voting process with assistance in ballot design, vote solicitation, tabulation and reporting.
